Immersive Research Media Associates (IRMA), is a cohort of immersive design consultants and practitioners with over 30+ years in the industry and global contacts on the forefront of exploring immersive realities, applications, software, technologies, design, curation and infrastructure. 

Our group leverages the knowledge of impassioned engineers with the aesthetic and emotional yields of real artists who expand and enhance material and digital liminal environments.

Humans have been learning how to live and use virtual reality since at least the 18th Century, when the act of viewing a painting was transformed into a technology through the invention of the panorama. Rooted in this archaic study is the language of virtual realities and the foundations of generating artificial immersive environments in the real and the digital.
